Founder and CEO
Jacob is an architectural designer and Revit specialist with over a decade of experience. With a master’s degree in architecture, he spent years working in the field before founding BIM Template in 2019 to help AECO firms implement better BIM practices. Since then, he has supported firms across the globe, working on everything from small-scale residential remodels to historic restorations and large commercial mixed-use developments. With firsthand knowledge of the challenges firms face in maintaining efficient workflows, he aims to cut wasted time through better standards. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends—activities that, like architecture, blend creativity and connection.
Kristin D’Strana
BIM Manager
Kristin decided to pursue a career as an architect at just 10 years old. While earning a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture at Texas Tech University, Kristin developed a passion for Revit, recognizing its potential to shape the industry. With nearly two decades of experience working in Revit and many years as a licensed architect in Texas, becoming a BIM manager was the natural next step. A dedicated sports fan, Kristin also played a key role in a grassroots effort that successfully brought the 16th team in the National Women’s Soccer League to Denver.
